ArchTriumph indice il concorso di idee Triumph Pavilion, un padiglione contenitore temporaneo, autoportante, trasportabile e dal design innovativo e contemporaneo che dovrà essere installato nel Museum Garden, a Londra.
L'obiettivo è quello di invitare studenti, architetti e giovani laureati a creare uno spazio unico capace di interpretare la fusione creativa dei materiali, dei pavimenti, delle pareti, delle immagini e delle sensazioni generate dal padiglione.
Il design della struttura dovrà essere inclusivo e incoraggiare il bisogno di un progetto ecologico e sostenibile, oltre che incentivare il desiderio di esplorare il padiglione e di conoscerne la struttura interna.
La realizzazione del progetto vincitore dovrà essere completata entro l'8 giugno 2017.
The brief is to design a temporary, freestanding, transportable and contemporary showcase Pavilion to be installed in the Museum Gardens based on the year's Triumph Pavilion theme of "Infusion", hence the Pavilion will be entitled "Infusion Pavilion". It calls on participants to create a unique space representing the author's visual interpretation of creative infusion or fusion of tiling materials into the design form to enhance the thoughts, images or sensations generated by the Pavilion. Tiles are universally employed forms of architectural decoration with current improved contemporary techniques resulting in an infinite colour palette to achieve such a depth of visual richness of remarkable quality architecture and interiors which the Pavilion hopes to explore.
The Pavilion design should also be inclusive, highlight and encourage the need for ecological and sustainable design principles where possible. It should also not exceed 3 meters in height and 80 Square meters in area.
Construction bust be completed and in place by 08th June 2017.
ELIGIBILITY
Architects, Architecture graduates, Architecture students, Team of architects, Interdisciplinary teams (engineers, designers, urbanist, artist, landscape architects in-conjunction with an architect).
SUBMISSIONS
Submissions can be the work of an individual, practice or a group up to 4 members.
SUMBMISSION DEADLINE: 28th October 2016
FEES
Every entrant shall be required to pay an entry fee as follows:
- Early Registration: $150 US from 12th August 00:00 (GMT) to 25th August 2016 23:59 (GMT)
- Standard Registration: $200 US from 26th August 00:00 (GMT) to 13th October 2016 23:59 (GMT)
- Late Registration: $300 US from 14th October 00:00 (GMT) to 28th October 2016 23:59 (GMT)
PRIZE
Winning proposal will receive the Honour of designing the ArchTriumph Showcase Triumph Pavilion with details of awards as follows:
- 1st Prize
- US$ 12,000 (Twelve Thousand US Dollars) budget towards the realisation of the Showcase Triumph Pavilion 2017 to be installed in the Museum Gardens, Bethnal Green in London.
- Publication on Archtriumph website
- Publication in architecture magazines, ArchTriumph book series, various architecture websites and blogs
- Exhibited at the opening event for the Pavilion
- Exhibited during the month of the London Festival of Architecture - 2nd, 3rd Places
- Publication on ArchTriumph website
- Publication in architecture magazines, ArchTriumph book series, various architecture websites and blogs
- Exhibited at the opening event for the Pavilion
